Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other healthcare providers may also participate.

Learning Objectives and Goals:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the psychological impact of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) among young adult patients
  2. Analyze the evidence supporting the use of specific nonbiologic and biologic agents
    during pregnancy in women with RA

Accreditation Statement

Rheumatology Nurses Society is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (Provider No. P0500).

Participants will receive 0.5 hours of continuing nursing contact hours, with 0.5 pharmacotherapeutic hours, by completing the education, completing an online evaluation, receiving a post-test score of 70%.
