Target Audience: This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other healthcare providers may also participate.

Learning Objectives and Goals:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Discuss the impact that rheumatic disease has on the lives of patients and their families
2. Review the role that advanced practice providers have in prescribing biologic therapy for patients with rheumatic disease
3. Assess the overarching value that advanced practice providers bring to the field of rheumatology

Accreditation Statement: Rheumatology Nurses Society is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (Provider No. P0500).

Participants will receive 0.75 continuing nursing contact hours by actively participating in education sessions and completing an online evaluation upon completion of the program.
