Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other healthcare providers may also participate.

Learning Objectives and Goals
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an improved ability to empathize with pregnant women with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) about common issues related to their daily struggles
  2. Identify appropriate questions to ask RA patients at each visit that may help quickly uncover core issues to be resolved by the patient and healthcare team
  3. Analyze opportunities to optimize therapy in patients with RA based on medication efficacy and side effect profile

Accreditation Statement
The Rheumatology Nurses Society is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (Provider No. P0500).

Participants will receive 0.5 hours of continuing nursing contact hours, including 0.5 pharmacotherapeutic hours, by completing the education, completing an online evaluation, and receiving a post-test score of 70%.
