This one-day course is designed to provide faculty and physicians-in-training an overview and update on the diagnosis and management of sarcoidosis. It will enable a broad spectrum of clinician needs in the understanding of the pathophysiology of the disease, the currently available diagnostic techniques, and the current standard of evaluation and treatment. The course will involve lectures delivered by experts from the NYU Langone faculty. The faculty will highlight the best screening practices in sarcoidosis for patients with organ involvement, as well as emphasize the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to the evaluation and treatment of sarcoidosis.
