Award Overview
The Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS) is proud to recognize and honor the leadership, achievements, and dedication of outstanding nurses who provide exceptional care to patients with rheumatologic diseases. This year, we invite YOU to nominate a current RNS member for the Excellence in Rheumatology Nursing Award.
Nomination Process

You will be asked to describe the nominee’s qualities and contributions of excellence in rheumatology nursing using the LEAD criteria:

Leadership

Education
-
Achievement
-
Dedication

All nominations must be submitted by midnight EST on October 13, 2025.

Once received, you will receive an acknowledgment of your submission, and the nominee will be notified that they have been nominated.

All nominations will be reviewed by the Awards Sub-Committee.

The award recipient will be publicly announced at the 2025 18th Annual RNS Conference during the President’s Dinner on Friday, November 7, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.

Please note: The winner must be present at the President’s Dinner to receive the award.
