Complete the following evaluation. Once completed, you will be able to receive a copy of the Certificate of Credit and Attendance. No physical certificates will be provided.
Contact Hours
Rheumatology Nurses Society is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (Provider No. P0500).
Participants will receive 1.75 continuing nursing contact hours by actively participating in the education and completing an online evaluation upon completion of the program.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the specific characteristics of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) that differentiate the condition from other common rheumatic diseases
- Assess learners’ ability to empathize with PsA patients about common issues related to their day-to-day struggles
- Identify appropriate questions to ask PsA patients at each visit that may help quickly uncover core issues to be resolved by the patient and healthcare team
- Analyze opportunities to optimize therapy in patients with PsA based on medication efficacy and side effect profile
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other healthcare providers may also participate.
