This one-day symposium is designed to provide physicians with up-to-date information on how to recognize, diagnose, treat, and follow-up common rheumatologic conditions. A comprehensive presentation on new treatment approaches in rheumatic diseases will open the conference, Then, expert faculty will provide participants with evidence-based guidance in the treatment and management of statin myopathy, gout and calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease (CPPD), osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis, back pain and ankylosing spondylitis using lectures and case scenarios presentations. The afternoon session will feature multiple breakout sessions that will provide participants with hands-on practice opportunities learning from experts in addressing fibromyalgia, lab testing in rheumatic diseases, joint exam/ultrasound.
