Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other healthcare providers may also participate.

Learning Objectives and Goals:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1.) Describe how a biosimilar differs from a reference biologic, as well as a traditional generic product

2.) Address common and challenging patient questions surrounding the use of biosimilars in clinical practice

Accreditation Statement

Rheumatology Nurses Society is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (Provider No. P0500).

Participants will receive 0.25 hours of continuing nursing contact hours by completing the education, completing an online evaluation, and receiving a post-test score of 70%.
